Working in financial recruitment since 2001
Nicola has been working in financial recruitment since 2001, undertaking various roles throughout her career, including Temp Controller lead for South Yorkshire for an International PLC and Business Development Director for a privately invested recruitment company. Her strength is managing client relationships and matching candidates to the right opportunities.
A graduate from the University of Humberside
Nicola has always wanted to work abroad. Her first job was working as a holiday rep for Thomson and after four fantastic years working across Spain and Portugal, she returned to Doncaster and began her search for a role in sales. She joined an international plc recruitment business where she was consistently one of the top performers – receiving a number of awards and being promoted swiftly through to Business Director.
She first started working with Nik in 2000 in the Sheffield office, where they worked together for 12 years. They formed a formidable team and left together to join an independent recruitment business, where she successfully set up a senior finance desk (and was recognised as top performer in each of her six years there). It was this role that cemented her reputation for being one of the most successful consultants in the South Yorkshire region. Such is the strength of her relationship with Nik, that she again followed him – this time to create Pratap Partnership.
