International Women’s Day is on Tuesday 8th March and is a very important date in our calendar each year. The recruitment industry must play a significant role in helping the business world become more diverse, equitable and inclusive.

Some of the sectors in which we recruit are underrepresented by females and we find it a positive challenge to lead every recruitment campaign to find the best individual and promote more positive EDI. IWD is an annual event that provides more awareness and understanding on the subject and is a great opportunity for us to speak out on a subject that is important to us;

• Over 70% of our team and 80% of our partnership team are female
• With 9 daughters across our team – all growing up very fast!
• Our network of female business leaders is vast in number and high in quality (see our Women in Finance page for more details)

We marked IWD last year with a well-attended Zoom event with Foresight, EY, Addleshaw Goddard and DSW. This year, we have spent some time talking to several of the most experienced and inspirational females leading business in the North. We will be posting their interviews and perspectives during the day on IWD.
